We offer two types of sedation - These include nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and intravenous sedation to deliver a combination of drugs that put you in a sleep like state before a procedure. All this depends on the needs of the patient.
In this way the patient and the surgeon are comfortable providing and receiving the best possible care-safe, and free of stress and pain.
If you are scheduled to have a general anesthetic, please do not eat or drink anything for 6 hours prior to your appointment. Also, we require a driver to escort you to and from your appointment - they are required to stay during the procedure. During the entire time you are here, we will closely monitor you to ensure your safety.
If you take daily medications please contact our office for further instructions.
